India VS England cricket match was the ultimate gameplay at Lords. India won against England by 151 runs. 

Indian bowlers pulled out the match once again with their best bowling performances. Especially, Mohammad Siraj was the star bowler, picking 8 wickets in the game.

On day 5 of the test match, everyone expects that the game would be a draw. But Indian bowlers sent all the England batsman to the pavilion. Indian Bowlers Ishant Sharma, Jasprit Bumrah, Mohammed Shami, and Mohammed Siraj took 2,3,1, and 4 wickets respectively.

England won the toss in the game and opt to bowl first. Indian opener batsmen Rohit Sharma and KL Rahul made the record-breaking opening partnership 100 runs. It was a 69 years record-breaking partnership. 

Moreover, KL Rahul made his 6th century at Lords. Indian batsmen KL Rahul made 129 runs and laid a strong foundation for the team.

Even Rohit Sharma made best of 83 runs with one maximum and 11 fours.

But Cheteshwar Pujara and Rahane once again got out with poor performance. Ajinkya Rahane got dismissed with a single run to James Anderson. While Cheteswar Pujara made only 9 runs in the first innings.

Besides Indian captain, Virat Kohli continued his poor performance on a row. His weakness, ball offside the off stump made it easy for the bowlers to pick him. However, he manages to make up 42 runs in the first innings.

Finally, team India made 364 in their first innings. Even Rishab Pant and Jadeja’s contributions of 37 and 40 runs assist India in cross 350+ runs in their first innings.

England First innings at Lords

England captain Joe Root once again scored a consecutive century in the second test in India VS England match. Joe Root made 180 runs in the first innings.

While Rory Burns made well-made 49 runs and gave his wicket to Mohammed Shami. Then England batsmen were struggling to get a good partnership and for runs. However, England manages to surpass India’s score and made 391 runs.

Indian bowlers put up a good performance in the first innings. Mohammed Siraj, budding cricketer took four wickets. While Ishant Sharma was able to take three wickets. Finally, Mohammed Shami ends up taking two wickets.

However, India manages to restrict England’s lead to 27 runs. Besides, Indian bowlers took 5 wickets in a single session. The entire credit goes to the Indian bowlers who made a comeback in the first innings.

Then Indian batsmen came to the crease to set a big total for the England team. But the openers KL Rahul and Rohit Sharma couldn’t able to make a huge partnership. Instead, KL Rahul was dismissed for 5 runs by Mark Wood with extraordinary bowling. 

On the other hand, Rohit Sharma got out for his famous pull shot. Besides, England bowlers were trying bouncers against Rohit Sharma. Eventually, Mark Wood was successful in dismissing Rohit Sharma just for 21 runs.

While Virat Kohli is not able to transform his performance on a better side. Again Virat Kohli nicked the ball and gave a wicket to Sam Curran. While Virat Kohli was so frustrated as he was throwing kinds of stuff in the dressing room. Eventually, ended up scoring 20 runs.

On day four, Rahane and Pujara were ultimate heroes. These two batsmen played well and were also able to build a big partnership. Cheteshwar Pujara took 35 balls to get to the mark. While the audience was cheering his single run humorously applauding.

Eventually, Cheteshwar Pujara made 45 from 206 balls and Ajinkya Rahane made well-made 61 runs.

The real game-changer moment was the partnership between Mohammed Shami and Bumrah. There two bowlers made England’s plan upside down.

 While  Shami made his furious 56 runs with one maximum and 6 boundaries. He took England bowlers on the charge with his powerful striking.

On the other hand, Jasprit Bumrah also made surprising 34 runs to team India. Eventually, on day 5, India declared and set a target of 271 runs.

England bowlers showcased their decent bowling performance. Mark wood took 3 important wickets. While Robinson was able to hold 2 wickets with his name. Even Sam Curran also ended up taking 2 wickets.

 Finally, Moeen Ali took 2 wickets and he was the first and only spinner who took wickets. Surprisingly. James Aderson was left wicketless.

England second innings at lords

Every spectator was expecting the match with a draw. But all the equations were upside down.

As England’s batsmen fall like a pack of match sticks. Indian bowlers made the impossible victory possible. Jasprit Bumrah, Mohammed Siraj, and Ishant Sharma were the star bowlers in the second innings.

Indian bolwer Jasprit Bumrah came back with outstanding figuers. He manages to take 3 wickets in the match. While Mohammed Siraj star bower of the match took another 4 figure in second innings. Eventually, Ishant Sharm ended up taking 2 wickets.

The India VS England match was a perfect anti-climax scene. Whereas, England openers Rory Burns and Sibley went to the pavilion without scoring a single run. Only Joe Root and Jos Buttler made 33 and 25 runs respectively.

While all the England batsmen were going to the pavilion with their poor performance, England had still a chance to end a match with a draw. But James Anderson and Mark wood couldn’t able to survive for 8 more overs a day play.

Where Mohammed Siraj bowled James Anderson with his around-the-stump bowling. After James Anderson’s final dismissal, India went on to register a famous victory at lords.
